Falling for fall....

I heart fall. For the last 11 years I have missed fall. Yes, they do have the months of September, October and November in Texas but it just doesn't look and especially doesn't feel the same. The mornings are down right cold now. The leaves are all over the ground, it's like God sprinkled confetti all over us. I feel so blessed to breath deep the cool, crisp air and kick up a shower of leaves as I walk down the sidewalk these days. I am indeed falling for fall...

Trick or treat....

Trick or treating...

Fireman Regan helping this sweet lady unload some of her candy stash.

Elliot was a little unsure at first about this whole taking candy from strangers business. Good girl Elliot.

Stephanie...I really wish this girl had a little spunk, a little personality. Oh well.

Miss Mandy gettin' some loves from Elliot, her number one fan.

Princess Avery

Baby Kendall

Candy.

Little kitty cat Brintel.

I know, I know...Halloween was last month. What can I say, I'm a little behind on life right now. I usually have a paint brush in hand these days. This computer is lucky it didn't get a coat of paint this evening. Okay, back to business. This year we went trick or treating at our Tyler and Stephie's neighborhood. All the kids joined us at their house for a quick supper and then off we went to trick or treat the neighbors. Lots of fun, lots of laughing...and LOTS of candy!

Pumpkin patch...

A few weeks ago Audra's school went on a pumpkin patch field trip to Klicker's Farm.

We saw reindeer (no idea why they had reindeer...but they did)

picked Indian corn...

played on the worlds longest slide (it was a huge metal slide that you had to climb up MANY hay bails to get to...and yes Audra bravely went down it).

Finn, Audra's buddy from school

and picked pumpkins of course! It was a MUCH different experience than what we had last year in Texas where it was 89 degrees and very muggy. We were bundled up and even got wet with some sprinkles of rain. Kids had a great time and it was fun to see Audra in action with all her classmates.

80...

This last Sunday Grandpa Walt turned the big 8-0.
Here he is with all the ladies in his life: Lynette and Connie his daughters, Rebecca, Rachele and Vicki his grand daughters and Elliot and Audra his great grand daughters....we have ALOT of girls in our family. You may also notice Elliot is picking her nose in this picture...she was picking her nose in ALL of the pictures so no, I did not just randomly choose to post a picture that had my little nose picker in action...they were ALL that way!!

Tyler Anderson, Grandpa Walt's nephew and some of our most favorite cousins.

Cousin Rachele four days past her due date...patiently wait to meet the newest member of our family

Four generations in Andy's Market all at one time.

Enjoying a little of Great Grandpa Walt's birthday cake.

Audra was sporting my Andy's Market apron that my mom made for me when I was little...now if she was just tall enough to bag groceries...

Super Stars....
