Summer Time (Already????)

This is for all our friends living a little farther north than south Texas. Summer is HERE!!! How do I know you ask? Well, we went swimming at our neighborhood pool today for the first time. It has been in the high 90's for a couple of weeks already. Did I mention it's humid too? So to all our friends longing for the long, smoldering, hot, swimming pool days of summer, they are on their way, I promise!!

Team Jack and Nora

Our dear friends the Carlsons have been blessed with four of the nicest little people you will every meet. Two of them, Jack and Nora, were born premature and spent some quality time in the NICU. Today both kiddos are bouncing bundles of joy, healthy and strong. To help celebrate their amazing stories and incredible lives yet to be, we joined team Jack and Nora at this years March of Dimes. Everyone had a really good time. Audra wanted to know WHERE we were walking to, she didn't understand the concept of just "walking". She also wanted to know where all the babies were. She wanted to SEE the "teeny tiny sweet little babies" and didn't understand why they weren't there. I told her that they were in the hospital so Aunt Pam could take care of them and give them their medicine. She thought that was a pretty good idea. Thanks to the Carlsons for letting us be part of this fun day!

Birthday Boy

The man of the house (we only have one) is now a year older. Newt is "two Audras" (that means 33 in Audra language). Because he lives with little girls, he got cupcakes for his birthday! We love our man, here is why:

Vicki:-"He is OOOOHHHHHH so patient"

he is fun to play with and has nice broad shoulders
for sleeping on)"

On the move....

So the Zanes family is moving north.....okay we're just going up to Austin, but that is technically NORTH!! This is movement in a positive direction! We put our house on the market last Wednesday and got an offer the following Monday. We will be headed out by June 18th. It's scary and exciting all at the same time. This house has SOOOOO many special memories for us. We brought both our babies home to this house, had many special Easters, Christmas, and birthday parties here. Lots of people have passed through these doors and helped make this house our home.
