Gettin'n around...

 This kid gets around.  Time for a baby gate.

Elliot had testing at preschool yesterday.  

When I picked her up from school her teacher told me she did SUPERB.

But then, we already knew she would...didn't we. 

garden party...

 For Audra's 7th birthday party this summer we had a garden party...

this little guy was our worm friend...

 and all the girls did a little gardening on the back porch...

 they all made a little terrarium in an old glass jar or vase...

 filled with succulent plants that only need to be watered once a month 

and some little creature friends.

 Once again in life we find ourselves so very blessed to be surrounded by wonderful families that have some really great kids for us to play and celebrate with.

And just like that our girl is SEVEN.

A grade schooler, dancer, sister, friend, helper, artist, smarty pants, sweet as honey...girl.

Year seven...here we come.

the garden...

This year our garden out did itself...

 we had 14 pumpkins in our little pumpkin patch...

 we grew three different kinds of peppers...

 rows of carrots and radishes...

 fresh herbs like lemon thyme, basil, oregano, dill, cilantro, parsley and rosemary...

 and HUNDREDS of tomatoes...

 we had five different varieties...

the strawberry patch was a favorite of the girls

I don't think too many strawberries even made it into the house

they were consumed before even making it past the garden

Five months old...

Preschool...

And off she goes....

My sweet girl now goes to preschool.

She's been doing just great.  Having a wonderful time.

Her favorite thing about preschool is snack time and the only thing that she doesn't like is the fact that recess is just too short.

She also claims that there is someone named Petunia in her class. 

She thinks it is the prettiest name she has ever heard.  

All I know is they're lucky to have her.
