Date night...

The girl and I want on a date Saturday night

it involved really, really good chocolate gelato....

a twirly pink polka dot dress, stripped tights and fancy gold shoes....

and the ballet.

We were out late.

We had a great time.

Just the two of us.

Sunday mornings...

Sunday isn't exciting because of the pancakes and syrup,

it's not just because there is no school,

it's certainly not because football is on,

it's because dad is home.

Read to me...

Audra is learning to read.

She made her own peanut butter and honey sandwich today at lunch (okay, I monitored the honey application).

She has TWO loose teeth right now.

But....I can still see over the top of her head.

And I think I'm still the boss.....I think...

The Ballet....

This weekend was the girls ballet...The Snow Prince.

Audra had two parts...a white twirly star...

and a rose petal.

The ballet storyline took place in outer space and the Snow Prince was visiting different planets.

Elliot's dance class was the animal planet...she was a tiger!

The girls did just GREAT!

We had a very long week of ballet practices last week...but it was all worth it. The girls had a really good time, and performance night was just great.
