When I was a little girl my mom, grandma and aunt would can and preserve anything that would grow. They would do tomatoes, cherries, peaches, pears, applesauce, pickles, corn, and pickled vegetables. They always went out to the Edwards family farm to pick their vegetables. Today my girls and I, the fourth generation in our family, went out to the Edwards Farm to buy some vegetables. I told Mrs. Edwards who my grandma was, she got a big smile on her face and told us welcome, that she has known my family for years. They have been farming and selling produce for 37 years. They are a special part of this valley, thanks Edwards!
